Site work for a civil project in Daysland, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
Bridge File 01019 (SE 03-46-15-W4M) located 19 km northeast of Daysland on Township Road 460. Work includes the removal the existing 6.1 m HC girder bridge on a treated timber substructure and replacement with a new 2200 mm diameter x 29 m invert length CSP culvert. Work at this site includes the removal and disposal of the existing single span 6.1 m HC girder bridge on a treated timber substructure and the installation of a new 2200 mm CSP culvert with a 29.0 m invert length. The crossing is located on a local road over an unnamed watercourse, 19 km northeast of Daysland. A location plan has been included in the Plans section of this document for the Contractor's convenience. Without limiting the provisions of these Specifications and Contract, the Scope of Work at this site shall include the following: - Traffic Accommodation - Demolition and Disposal of Bridge Structure - Excavation - CSP with Couplers Supply - CSP Assembly - Backfill - Roadway Work - Supply and Placement of Class 1 Heavy Rock Riprap - Supply and Installation of Erosion Control Barrier (Silt Fence) - Supply and Installation of Erosion Control Barrier (Straw Rolls) - Supply and Installation of Erosion Control Soil Covering (Type C)
