Renovation of a municipal facility in Galax, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
HVAC Replacement at Galax Clerk of Court Building :- The City of Galax is seeking bids from qualified Contractors to replace the heat pump system (HVAC) at the Galax Clerk of Court Building: 353 N Main St, Galax, VA 24333. This includes the uninstallation and removal of the existing system prior to the installation and setup of the furnished system by the Awarded Bidder. The HVAC system must include the specifications described herein. Bidders are encouraged to conduct an on-site inspection prior to bid submission. Inspections can be scheduled by contacting City of Galax staff. SCOPE OF WORK 1. Replace existing HVAC system with a new 7 1/2 ton system. 2. Disconnect, uninstall and remove existing unit 3. Furnish, transport, and install new unit on-site at Galax General District Court (353 N Main Street, Galax, VA 24333) 4. Furnish and install new duct work configuration, indoor unit, new heater package, controls, and new outdoor unit. 5. Reconnect existing wiring, drains, and reference lines for unit to be fully operational. 6. All items must be assembled and set in place, ready for use. All crating and other debris must be removed from the premises. 7. Make necessary modifications as required for unit to be fully operational. 8. All good and services to be warrantied. The City of Galax reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any and all bids. *The bid list for this project may be incomplete.
