Description

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Perkasie, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

**As of May 29, 2024, Project has been awarded. Award amount is $462,680.62** ROAD PROGRAM This contract includes a base bid and three alternate bids for the milling, base repair and paving of specified roadways within Perkasie Borough. The base bid also involves roadway widening, installation of pavement markings, and installation of storm sewer improvements at specified locations. One alternate bid involves the complete reconstruction of a portion of N. 8th Street, while the other alternate bids also involve the milling, base repair and paving of the Borough Police Station Parking Lot along with installation of compliant ADA stalls, pavement markings and storm sewer improvements. Each bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders, including but not limited to being accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check for not less than ten percent (10%) of the Bid amount payable to the Borough of Perkasie. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish proof of insurance, performance and payment bonds for 100% of the amount of the contract and maintenance bond in such form as meets the approval of the Borough of Perkasie and having as security thereon such Surety company or companies as are approved by the Borough of Perkasie. The Borough of Perkasie reserves the right to reject any and all bids for any cause whatsoever, to eliminate any item or items from the contract, and to waive any informality in the bids.
