Requesting proposals from firms to provide Professional Construction Management and Inspection Services for Nassau County Department of Public Work's Construction Management Unit: Highway/Bridge Construction Group for the Resurfacing Phase 60 PIN 0761.17. Project is federally funded. Services may include providing one Resident Engineer, one Office Engineer, and two Construction Inspectors for management all construction related activities, contractor claims, and construction related engineering services. The firms selected to provide these services will be awarded a two (2) year Agreement with the County. All questions regarding this RFP should be submitted by email, prior to close of business on Friday, May 17, 2024, to Richard Iadevaio, Jr, at riadevaio@nassaucountyny.gov Contract term: Two years Proposals should only be submitted after careful examination of the complete RFP and its requirements. The selected firm will be required to provide proof of general and professional liability insurance in the minimum amounts of $2,000,000 in the aggregate and $1,000,000 per occurrence, respectively. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Disadvantaged Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 20% The successful Proposer will be required to comply with a 20% DBE goal for this project as per Federal requirements expressed in Title 49 CFR Part 26. All vendors shall submit DBE Utilization Plan with their Proposal. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
