The Contract includes sewer pipe replacement, installation, and rehabilitation; sewer manhole replacement, installation, and rehabilitation; bypass pumping; traffic control; restoration and all other work identified in the Contract Documents. The Work includes all materials, equipment, labor, necessary apparatuses, and other miscellaneous labor and materials as contemplated by the Contract Documents. The wage rates will also be posted in a conspicuous location, visible to all of the contractors' employees. All Bidders must submit a bid security in the amount of 10% of the total bid price. A Performance and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the estimated contract price, shall be required from the Successful Bidder. A non-collusion affidavit is required for this Bid. While Bidders may make comments to clarify their bid, Bidders cannot change, modify, delete or make additions to the wording to any of the Bidding Documents including, but not limited to, the Agreement. Unauthorized conditions, exceptions, limitations, or provisions attached to a bid may be cause for rejection of the bid. Alterations by erasure or interlineation must be explained or noted in the bid over the signature of the Bidder.
