Site work and paving for a road / highway in Parma, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The estimated cost is $1,672,813.25. All bids must be in sealed envelopes marked: Village of Parma - Road Rehabilitation and Resurfacing No pre-bid meeting will be held. Questions about this bid proposal must be submitted by Thursday, May 16, 2024 at 1:00 PM EST via e-mail only to manderson@mijackson.org. The Jackson County Department of Transportation reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to make the award in the best interest of the Jackson County Department of Transportation and Jackson County Project Scope All work will consist of a variety of road improvements such as cold milling, HMA resurfacing, sidewalk improvements, drainage improvements, pavement markings, and restoration on 3.85 miles of village streets in the Village of Parma, Jackson County, Michigan as specified in this proposal and on the attached map. The Village of Parma, in consultation with the Jackson County Department of Transportation (JCDOT), reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to make the award in the best interest of the Village of Parma. Summary of Roads Refer to Table 1 below. A list of each road is shown with the length, average width, surface area in square yards, and the corresponding treatment chosen by the JCDOT engineering team. Treatments for each road are subject to change, and JCDOT may add or remove roads based on contractor availability, weather, and any sudden issues that arise during construction.
