Site work for a museum in Niles, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a museum.
All bidders are required to sign a certification that they will comply with all Federal and State non-discrimination laws and regulations. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory 100% performance bond as well as labor and material bond. A certified check or bidder's bond in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the proposal will be required with each proposal. Proposals submitted without the certified check or bidders bond will not be accepted. Funding for the project has been allocated from several sources including local, state and federal funds. This undertaking is partially funded by a Certified Local Government grant from the Michigan State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) and will follow the Secretary of Interior's Standards for Rehabilitation. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive irregularities in proposals and to accept the proposal that in the opinion of the City Council is most advantageous to the City. No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of bids for a period of thirty (30) days after the scheduled time of receiving bids. Bidders shall submit at least one design with cost proposal and up to three separate designs with cost proposals The work to be done under this contract includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment and tools necessary for the removal and replacement of the monument sign in accordance with the plans and specifications.
