Renovation of a mixed-use development in Niles, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and theater / auditorium.
As of November 15, 2024, construction had completed in October 2024. No further information is expected. The previous solicitation is listed below for reference. This project consists of replacing steel ledger plates at the bottom of cantilevering brick walls (Approx. 40 LF). Remove brick coursings at base of wall to allow for adding through wall flashing and weeps to help moisture to escape. Temporary shoring of walls will be necessary during the addition of through wall flashing. Replace brick once flashing has been added. Insulate the underside or floor of the cantilevered space. Add necessary framing to accommodate a new pre-finished metal soffit. Bids shall be properly and completely executed on the Bid Proposal Form included within the Project Manual and submitted in duplicate. Bids shall be clearly marked as "Niles Community Schools, Main Entrance Security Improvements - Niles High School on the front of the submitted envelope.
