Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; educational facility; educational facility; educational facility; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.

A. Project consists of the Demolition of the University Residence South and University Residence North buildings not the University of Nebraska at Kearney campus. Base bid includes demolition of the two buildings, foundation removals, utility abandonment, site sidewalks, and University Drive pedestrian crossing improvements adjacent to the canal bridge. Alternate 1 includes a new bike path along the south side University Drive and associated lighting from the canal to the west side of the URS property. Alternate 2 includes a new bike path along the south side of University Drive on the Ockinga Property west of URS and includes University crossing improvements at that location. B. Project Management including submittals, contract change management and other documents will be handled via the Owners Project Management system. The Owner's Project Management System will be used for purposes of managing communication and documents during the design and construction phases. Contractor will be provided accounts as needed and costs will be the responsibility of the Owner. Training may be requested at ebassist@nebraska.edu.
