**As of July 8, 2024 this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Roof replacement at the Housing Authority of the Town of Glastonbury's Welles Village property. Welles Village consists of 199 units in 126 buildings. The roof replacement encompasses all 126 buildings plus the detached garage at the main office which is located on site. The Contract will include demolition, general construction work, site improvements, new building construction, interior construction, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical work, and all other work necessary for or incidental to the completion of the project. The successful bidder will be required to furnish 100% Performance and Payment Bond or Bonds, in the forms included in the Specifications, as well as a certified statement of financial condition, as of a date not exceeding ninety (90) days prior to the date thereof. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in bidding. All Bid Documents must be completely filled in when submitted. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days subsequent to the opening of bids or until the next work day immediately following said period, if such period ends on a weekend or a State holiday, without the consent of the above mentioned Owner. The bidder selected to perform the work described herein shall apply for building permits immediately after entering into a construction contract with the owner. The duration of construction will be no greater than [9 months].
