Renovation of an educational facility in Glastonbury, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
In general terms, the Project will include the removal and disposal of the existing PVC Interlocking Square Floor System and installation of a new indoor resilient multipurpose surfacing system as specified. The specific Work of the Project is defined by the Contract Documents. Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the form of a Bid Bond, certified in an amount not less than 10% of the base bid amount except as otherwise expressly provided in the Instruction to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to provide performance and labor and material payment bonds in the full amount of the agreed contract price. Scope of Work 1.1 GENERAL A. Removal and disposal of existing PVC Interlocking Square Floor System. B. Unbolt the small single tier aluminum spectator bleachers and proper storage and re-installation. C. Preparation of concrete slabs to receive resilient flooring as specified. D. Supply and installation of the indoor resilient multipurpose surfacing system as specified. E. Application of the game lines as currently exist and as approved by Owner. F. Provide a scaled dimensional floor plan of game lines/color to be submitted and approved by Owner.
