The City seeks development of an ADA Transition Plan for the City park facilities to meet the requirements of the ADA and serves the needs of the community. In development of the Parks ADA Transition Plan, the consultant will assess existing facilities, identify improvements to non-compliant facilities to meet ADA requirements, and estimate improvement costs. The consultant will also prioritize necessary improvements utilizing ADA requirements, City park usage, equity guidance, public input, and cost/benefit analysis. The budget for the consultant to perform this work is approximately $220,000 to $250,000. Questions related to this solicitation may be directed to Randy Witt, Engineer II, rwitt@shorelinewa.gov.
