The City of St. Joseph is an Equal Opportunity Employer (s) Summer Deatherage Purchasing Agent The City of St. Joseph is seeking a qualified vendor to fabricate and install exterior lighted signage on three sides of the Civic Arena, 100 N. 4th Street. The necessary electrical service for all exterior signs will also be required as part of this project. City staff will be available to assist vendors in location identification, but in general, new signs will be installed on the west, east, and south sides of the arena. In conjunction with the sign project, painting of the exterior of the arena will also be taking place by another contractor. Coordination of the painting project and sign installation will be managed by Parks. Recreation, & Civic Facilities staff with the arena’s event schedule taken into consideration. The chosen contractor will provide required services as requested in the Subject Areas utilizing appropriate commercial-type equipment and other tools as necessary. There will be no mandatory pre-bid for this project. Should a bidder find a discrepancy in, or omission from, these documents, or be in doubt as to their meaning, the bidder shall notify the City Purchasing Agent in writing at least five (5) days prior to the time set for opening the bids. SCOPE OF SERVICES Contractor’s services are necessary for the following Project of the City: Fabricate and install new exterior lighted signage on three sides of the St. Joseph Civic Arena, at 100 N. 4th Street, and the required electrical service for said signage. Except as expressly specified herein, Contractor hereby agrees to provide all of the supervision, labor, technical services, facilities, materials, tools, equipment, and apparatus, and to perform all the services and do all the things necessary for the proper completion of the Contractor services which are particularly described above and in Exhibit A (hereinafter referred to as the Work), which is attached hereto and incorporated into this Agreement by reference. The Work shall be provided by the Contractor in accordance with all the provisions of this Agreement and attached City of St. Joseph General Conditions. The terms stated in the City of St. Joseph General Conditions shall prevail over any conflicting terms that may otherwise be adopted herein as part of any attachment.
