**As of June 6, 2024, the project was awarded to AWNING ADVANTAGE, INC. DBA/ ROBERTS AWNINGS, but the awarded amount is not available.** The purpose of this Unsealed Invitation for Bids (UIFB) is to solicit unsealed bids from qualified and capable bidders to fabricate and install new cover over existing frame/awning at the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) Headquarters building located at 2300 W Broad Streat, Richmond, VA 23220. Period of Contract: For one (1) year from Date of Award. Question Deadline 05/09/2024 at 2:00 PM ET All inquiries for information should be directed to Matin Zakir, via E-mail to: matin.zakir@dmv.virginia.gov. No questions will be made or answered orally. No prebid conference/site visit will be held. Plan Holders List not maintained. The contractor shall: 1. Be able to purchase custom-made fabric. 2. Be able to successfully install the fabric over the existing frames. 3. Be able to provide all the necessary labor, equipment, and materials to install the fabric. 4. Remove all crating and other debris from the premises. 5. Submit certificate of insurance, naming DMV as additional insured. 6. Submit valid certificate of small business/micro or women-owned/minority-owned issued by the Virginia Department of Small Business and Supplier Diversity.
