On-Call General Construction Services Charlotte, Halifax & Pittsylvania Counties The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as "VDOT") is soliciting bids from qualified firms to establish a time and materials contract to provide on-call, as-needed General Construction Services within the Lynchburg District, Charlotte, Halifax and Pittsylvania Counties in accordance with the specifications, terms and conditions contained in this Invitation For Bid (IFB). The Contractor shall possess a Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation (DPOR) Contractor's license Class "A" or "B". VDOT reserves the right to add or remove sites during the contract period. PERIOD OF CONTRACT: To be determined at the time of award through one year (renewable) Any questions regarding this invitation for bid shall be addressed to Robert Dowdle at Robert.Dowdle@VDOT.virginia.gov. The issuing office shall determine whether any addendum should be issued as a result of any questions or other matters raised. Provide questions no later than 5:00 PM EST on May 9, 2024. The Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, supervision, equipment, tools, materials, supplies, and incidentals as necessary to provide construction services, on a time and materials basis, to the facilities owned and operated by the Virginia Department of Transportation, Lynchburg District.
