Exterior Remodel - Von Ebert Property Summary: The restaurant building's siding and trim system need to be replaced. A patio structure has been removed and a prefabricated metal structure needs to be constructed on the existing pad. New gutters and flashing are required. The restaurant building's exterior requires new paint. The restaurant and golf course will be operational during the project and coordination will be necessary throughout the project. Drawings and a project manual have been created and will be provided to the contractor. The contractor is required to follow the provided drawings and project manual throughout the project. Public Benefits Program Requirements Meeting Metro will have a virtual meeting on May 8, 2024, 9:00 a.m. to further describe Metro's Public Benefit Programs and their requirements to proposers and to answer questions. These programs are described in the "Metro's Public Benefit Programs" section of this ITB. All potential bidders are encouraged to attend. Metro intends to award the contract to a single firm. The term of the contract is anticipated to be June 3, 2024 through October 31, 2024, unless Metro encounters weather delays, then the project could extend to Spring 2025. Bid Security All bids must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a cashier's check, certified check, irrevocable letter of credit, or a bid bond issued by a surety authorized to conduct such business in Oregon. Security shall be in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid price. The bid security shall serve as a guarantee that the bidder will not withdraw the bid for a period of sixty (60) days after bid opening, and if awarded the contract, will execute the Metro contract and furnish all required bonds and insurance within the time frame specified. Bonds Contractor shall provide the following on Metro's standard bond forms: A Performance Bond in an amount equal to 100 percent of the contract price. A Labor and Materials bond in an amount equal to 100 percent of the contract price It is the sole responsibility of the bidder to ensure that Metro receives the Bid by the specified date and time. All late Bids shall be rejected. Bidders shall review all instructions and contract terms and conditions.
