PROJECT SCOPE The Kent School District wishes to contract all services required to construct the project: Renovation for i-Grad Program locat.ed at ÏÎÏÔ9 SE Kent-Kangley Rd. Kent, WA 98030. Bid security, in the amount of 5% of the bid sum must accompany each bid. Security shall be made payable to the Kent School District either by certified check or bid bond issued by a surety company licensed to conduct business in Washington State. PHASE 1 SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION : August 16, 2024 PHASE 2 SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION : October 1, 2024 FINAL COMPLETION: October 15, 2024 WORK COVERED BY CONTRACT DOCUMENTS A. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. All work required to complete the project: Renovation for I-Grad Program. B. Type of Contract: 1. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract. 1.5 PHASED CONSTRUCTION A. Construct the Work in phases, with each phase substantially complete as indicated in work summary above. 1. Phase One shall be all work pertaining to the main building, including exterior work and conc work for new doors.Phase Two shall be all interior work pertaining to the interior of the relocated portables delivered to the site and set by others. B. Before commencing Work of each phase, submit an updated copy of Contractor's construction schedule, showing the sequence, commencement and completion dates for all phases of the Work.
