On-call contractor needed for residential asbestos abatement. Service area is Pierce County. The successful bidder will be expected to respond to an emergency call within two hours of call. The work under this Contract consists of furnishing all tools, equipment, materials, incidentals, superintendents, subcontractor coordination and overhead to perform abatement of hazardous materials at specific sites throughout Pierce County. This on-call contract shall be used in response to emergency and non-emergency situations for abatement as part of a stand-alone work order. Work orders shall typically include asbestos, but lead, heavy metals, mold and related hazards may be part of Work orders as well. The Weatherization Assistance Program enables low-income families to reduce their energy costs by increasing the energy efficiency of their homes while ensuring their health and safety. Eligibility is determined by a number of factors, including the number of people in your household, income sources and more. Pierce County Human Services provides weatherization services to qualifying low-income residents outside the city limits of Tacoma. Question Submission Deadline :May 13, 2024, 4:00pm. The contract period of performance will be 730 Calendar Days (2 years) commencing from the date of the Notice to Proceed, or until the amount of the contract has been exhausted, whichever occurs first. Bid security is not required for Small Works Projects Successful bidder must provide a contract bond for $150,000.00. 5% retainage will be held for the full contract period.
