Description

Renovation of a municipal facility in Tacoma, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

This project has been awarded to Carrier Corporation in the amount of $265,700. Provide repairs and improvements to existing centrifugal chillers, CH-1 and CH-2. Work Includes chiller overhaul for CH-1 and CH-2. Work also includes replacement of CH-2 chiller's existing drive with new Variable Frequency Drive (VFD). The work proposed includes all the necessary *permits, fees, materials, equipment, labor, and related items to construct improvements to County-City Building's centrifugal chillers located at 930 Tacoma Avenue South, Tacoma, WA 98402. * The contractor is responsible for any specialty or other permits required for this project and shall include such fees in his bid. PROVIDE REPAIRS & IMPROVEMENTS TO EXISTING CENTIFUGAL CHILLER. WORK INCLUDES CHILLER OVERHAUL FOR CH-1 AND CH-2 & REPLACEMENT OF EXISTING DRIVE WITH NEW VFD TYPE FOR CH-2 ONLY
