Demolition and site work for a residential development in Festus, Missouri. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
Proposals should be sealed and marked "DEMOLITION" and addressed to the attention of Greg Camp. All Missouri D.N.R. and E.P.A. demolition regulations must be followed, and a City of Festus demolition permit must be pulled before work. Specifications are available online at website. All bidders must perform a site visit, or the bid will be rejected. Specifications are as follows: - Demolition and Land Disturbance permits must be pulled for location. (fees waived) - Bids must list structure demolition and site cleanup separately with the price of each, incomplete bids not listing testing or disposal fees will be rejected. - All utilities must be disconnected with inspections completed (sewer capped). - All the structures must be removed to ground level, foundations cleaned out below ground level, clean fill if foundations are left, and lots seeded and strawed. - All required D.N.R. and E.P.A. requirements followed, with copies of any related paperwork turned in to the City. Bidders shall include liability insurance coverage of $1,000,000 or more, auto coverage, and proof of Worker's Compensation to be submitted with bid paperwork. City to be listed as additional insured. All Contractors will be required to have a current City contractor's license. The City of Festus reserves the right to reject any bids, in whole or in part, and to waive any irregularities in the bidding process. If a contract award is made, it will be made to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder based on the sole determination of the City.
