Site work and paving for a civil project in Stratford, Prince Edward Island. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Stratford Utility Corporation (Utility) is seeking tenders from qualified contractors for the supply and installation of eight (8) hydrants along Myrtle Street and the Mason Road in the Town of Stratford. The hydrants will be added to the existing water system, compromising of 200 mm and 300 mm diameter ductile iron or pvc watermain. All hydrant installations will be a live direct tap and tee while the system remains pressurized. The eight (8) locations as shown in the attached map have been staked by the Utility. Contractors will be required to visit the site locations before tender submission to become aware of the surroundings and familiar with any constraints that may impact the work. No claims for payment extra to the contract price resulting from failure to determine the existing condition of the sites will be allowed. The Utility shall address questions and provide information on record drawings upon request to Charlie Koughan at ckoughan@townofstratford.ca or Jeannie Woodard at jwoodard@townofstratford.ca .
