The work of this single bid project includes the gut demolition, envelope replacement and interior fit out of the approximately 54,000sf Agriculture Science Building, including the roof. The work includes, but is not limited to, brick envelope demolition and reconstruction, concrete slab demolition and removals, asbestos abatement, cutting and patching, concrete, masonry, structural steel, steel stairs, miscellaneous metals, railings, misc. carpentry, millwork, thermal protection, sealants, doors and frames, aluminum storefronts/entrances, hardware, finishes, acoustic wall/ceiling panels, wall coverings, ceilings, metal studs and GWB partitions, flooring, EPDM Roofing, roof pavers, site utilities, sitework, mechanical, electrical, fire protection and plumbing. Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 5% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 5% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 3% Contract term: 1,022 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Location: Work will be performed at SUNY Alfred State. Bids will be opened at SUCF offices in Albany, NY. Estimated Range $35,000,000 - $40,000,000 All bidders must present evidence of skill, experience and financial qualifications per Information to Bidders, Section 7 of the project specs. Subcontracting is permitted (Section 2.18 of SUCF Agreement). Principal subcontractors must be named within 48 hrs after bid opening per Information for Bidders Section 8. Bidders must submit within 48hrs either certification of its NYS VendRep questionnaire (preferred) or a signed and notarized paper CCA2 form (Version 9/13 only), Attachments A, B, and C, Appendix A form, work descriptions, and preliminary project schedule. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
