Renovation of a fire / police facility in Canandaigua, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
Police Station Heat Pumps. Bidders shall provide a proposal that includes all equipment, new line sets and power supplies to properly replace existing equipment in order to provide the appropriate heat load for the facility. The City would desire the new heat pumps and any associated equipment to be located on the roof, if possible, pending a structural analysis of the roof decking. Bidder would be responsible to confirm that current roof can handle load of new equipment. Bidder would be responsible for rental of all heavy equipment required to place equipment on roof. All bids will be submitted on forms furnished by the City and will be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid. The bid proposal notice shall be part of the specifications. No bids may be withdrawn after bid opening. All bids shall be in effect up to forty-five (45) days after bid opening. The City reserves the right to waive any informalities or accept or reject any or all bids or options that it deems to best serve the needs of the City of Canandaigua. The City, however, reserves the right to request additional information deemed necessary for proper evaluation of bids.
