Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Rockwood, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The work includes furnishing all labor, equipment and materials necessary to complete the work including 1455 cyd of dredging, construction of 320 lf of precast concrete boardwalk on driven wooden piles, installation of wood railing, modifications and repairs to existing wooden boardwalks and installation of 2100 Ton limestone aggregate, and all incidental construction at Lake Erie Metropark in Wayne County, Michigan. State funds are being used to assist in construction and relevant State requirements will apply. Grant funding by the Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund (MNRTF). For grants funded by the State of Michigan, the rates of wages and fringe benefits to be paid to each class of construction mechanics by the Contractor and all of its subcontractors shall be not less than the wage and fringe benefit rates prevailing in the locality in which the work is to be performed. See General Conditions Part 6 for additional requirements. The contractor and all sub-contractors must comply with all requirements of 1976 PA 453 (Elliott-Larsen Civil Rights Act), the 1976 PA 220 (Persons with Disabilities Civil Rights Act), and Executive Directive 2019-09, as amended. Bid Forms, Drawings and Specifications may be viewed and ordered after May 8, 2024. Complete sets of Bidding Documents shall be used in preparing bids. Neither the Owner nor its Consultants assume any responsibility for errors, omissions or misinterpretations resulting from the use of incomplete sets of Bidding Documents. Bids shall be submitted on the form included in the bidding documents, and shall be accompanied by a Cashier's Check, Certified Check or Bid Bond underwritten by a surety licensed in the State of Michigan, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into a contract. After the time of opening, no bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days. The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities and/or formalities and to make award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the Authority.
