The City expects to shortlist up to four (4) Respondents which have the relevant expertise and capacity to undertake this Project. The City, in its sole discretion, explicitly reserves the right to shortlist fewer Respondents. The Scope of Work for this Project will include but not be limited to: Removal and disposal of existing end of life roofing components. Remedial works on any compromised roofing insulation or roofing components. Supply of labour, materials and equipment necessary to install new roofing systems including carpentry, flashing and any other required components to complete a watertight roofing system. Capacity to install roofing types including but not limited to: TPO, EPDM, SPS, asphalt shingle or any typical roofing type as defined by the project roofing specifications. List all types of roofing systems that your company has experience in and is capable of installing Capacity to supply and install metal roof re-coatings or approved remedial metal roof works. Complete clean up and close out works. The work is be performed to RCABC standards; however, a RCABC Guarantee is not required for the Project. All Work is to conform to the requirements of the current BC Building Code. All materials are to be installed as per Manufacturers recommendations, and the Contractor shall provide complete warranty literature for the roofing system. Contractors should have experience and may be required to deal with hazardous materials such as asbestos or leachable paint. Appropriate precautions and/or remediations should be part of the work plan.
