For furnishing all labor and/or materials and performing all work as set forth in the Contract Documents prepared by and for Knott County Water and Sewer District (OWNER). Immediately following the scheduled closing time for reception of bids, all proposals which have been submitted in accordance with the conditions set forth will be publicly opened and read aloud at the Knott County Water & Sewer District's (KCWSD) office. Supply and installation of two (2) backup generators at the Carr Creek Water Treatment Plant. Generator No. 1 rated at 450kW will provide backup power for the water treatment plant operations and Generator No. 2 rated at 250kW will provide backup power for the raw water intake. The generators will be installed on constructed concrete pads, protected by bollards, and wired into the WTP and intake motor control centers. Contractor shall furnish all materials, equipment, labor, and reclamation necessary to complete the construction of this contract. The construction of this project will be funded with funds made available from the Commonwealth of Kentucky's Division of Abandoned Mine Lands AMLER Program. Bidders must comply with all applicable laws and regulations for construction projects receiving Federal aid including, but not limited to, the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act. Minority bidders are encouraged to bid.
