The Place of the Work is: 53279 Range Road 225, Strathcona County (on Range Road 225, South of Tidan Heights Rual Subdivision) Questions Due Date: May 15th 2024, 2:00 PM MDT 1400mm culvert replacement and restoration at 6–8-meter depth and 33m in length. Obtain Right of Way construction activity permit from the County. Mobilization and demobilization of required equipment to complete scope of work. Locate all underground infrastructure. Sawcut and remove all top surface asphalt in work area. The Supplier shall haul it offsite and dispose appropriately at their discretion. Hydrovac to locate underground utilities in work area. Excavate and remove existing culvert. The Supplier shall haul it offsite and dispose appropriately at their discretion. Excavate to subgrade elevation for new culvert install. Excess and unsuitable material to be hauled offsite and dispose appropriately at their discretion. Supply and place non- woven geotextile over clay subgrade ready for gravel base. Supply and spread and compact 20mm gravel base ready for culvert install. Install 33m of County supplied 1400mm culvert. Gravel backfill around pipe as per Construction Drawings (Attachment 6). Install clay plug on each end of culvert as per Construction Drawings (Attachment 6). Place and compact existing backfill (compacted to 100% proctor density) up to 550mm below top of asphalt. Contour both ends of the culvert ready for rip rap install. Place 80 tons of class 1 rip rap over non-woven geotextile. Supply and place a 200mm thick lift of soil cement over excavation area. Supply, place, and compact a 250mm lift of 20mm crush gravel over excavation area. Supply, place, and compact a 100mm lift of hot mix asphalt over excavation area. Supply and place 100mm of topsoil with erosion control on slopes and hydro seed. Remove existing fence to facilitate work. Install temporary fence during construction. Re-install existing fence after completion of work. In the event the any of the following additional items are deemed to be required by the Supplier to perform the Deliverables, the Supplier shall provide and all such additional items shall be included in the lump sum price: Sheet piling for dewatering. Dewatering and water pumping. Basic signage and barricades supplied by Supplier. Water pumping and monitoring of a fish bearing stream. Import and export of materials. Shoring and trench boxes.
