This project is being funded in part with the Town Road Improvement Program (TRIP). -MT 58-28S asphalt mix, Pulverized and Relaid Asphalt Pavement -- Work under the contract shall include: furnishing and placing MT 58-28S asphalt mix; furnishing and applying tack coat; 12907 square yards of pulverizing, shaping, and recompacting the existing asphalt surface; constructing 2 foot wide Base Aggregate Dense; traffic control; and all incidental work to complete the project in a workmanship-like manner. Each bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond or a Certified Check in the amount of five (5) percent of the bid price payable to the Town of Shanagolden as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted the bidder will execute and file the property contract and bond within the time set or the bid deposit shall be forfeited as liquidated damages. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond payable to the Town of Shanagolden for one hundred (100) percent of the total bid price, a Certificate of Insurance, together with an executed contract, will be required of the successful bidder. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids and accept the bids deemed or to accept any bid they deem in the best interests of the Town of Shanagolden. The contractor shall be pre-qualified by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation to perform the work in this bid. The undersigned bidder, if awarded the contract, agrees to substantially complete the work by October 1, 2024 and final completion no later than October 15, 2024.
