Renovation of a residential development in Huachuca City, Arizona. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.

The contractor shall furnish all materials, labor, equipment, services, transportation and perform all the work for the County's project known as CDBG Owner-Occupied Housing Rehabilitation for Cochise County, Arizona as called for in the above Project Description and in any included Specifications. The contractor should prepare a time schedule for completion. The selected contractor will be required to assist in the documentation necessary for compliance with all applicable federal and other requirements of ADOH. The selected contractor should be prepared to comply with all local, state and federal safety and environmental requirements. The project shall be accomplished in accordance with all federal program and state statutory requirements to include 2 CFR 200, Executive Orders and the Arizona Administrative Code. Cochise County, hereinafter referred to as the County, through a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) from the State of Arizona Department of Housing (ADOH) will accept bids from qualified firms or individuals who are licensed, registered, and in good standing with the Arizona Registrar of Contractors. This is a federally funded project which requires that contractors also be registered and verified in online. Question Deadline 05/28/2024 at 2:00 PM MT Correspondence, questions and/or clarifications of the bidding procedure should be directed through online. Bidder agrees that the work will be fully completed and ready for final payment within one hundred eighty (180) calendar days after the date when the contract time commences. If information of a material matter is provided in response to any correspondence or question or if a clarification is issued by the County, a copy of the question and answer will be provided to all prospective bidders. This response shall serve as an addendum to the advertised call for bids and become part of the County approved plans. Such bonds shall be executed solely by a surety company or companies holding a certificate of authority to transact surety business in the State of Arizona as issued by the Director of the Arizona Department of Insurance. Such bonds are not to be limited as to the time in which action may be instituted against the surety company. The bond(s) shall be made payable and acceptable to Cochise County and shall be written or countersigned by an authorized representative of the surety who is either a resident of the State of Arizona or whose principal office is maintained in this State, as required by law, and the bond(s) shall have attached thereto a certified copy of Power of Attorney of the signing official. Cochise County reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to award the contract to other than the low bidder with good cause. The County further reserves the right to waive any informality or irregularities in the bidding process. Additionally, the bidder recognizes the right of the County to reject a bid if the bidder failed to furnish the data required by the bidding documents or if the bid is in any way incomplete or irregular. This federally funded project consists of the repair of a roof and eaves; repair of electrical receptacles; repair of obstructed drain in master bathroom; and installation of a new bathtub faucet. Cochise County reserves the right to accept the lowest, responsible bid; to consider alternatives; to reject any or all bids; and to waive irregularities or information in any bid. Cochise County also reserves the right to hold any or all bids for a period of thirty (30) days after the date of opening. Bidders will not be allowed to withdraw submitted bids during the thirty (30) day period.
