Renovation of a power facility in Manhattan, Kansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a power facility.
Kansas State University seeks quotes for the replacement of an existing air handling unit. The project includes the removal of the old unit and installation and commissioning of the new unit. Refer to the Scope of Work and Conditions of Bid for complete statements of the specifications and requirements. This opportunity is open to pre-qualified contractors currently holding a University "On-Call" contract. Contractor is responsible for providing the following: 1. Demolition of existing units and trash haul off. 2. Demolition of existing coil piping to a location to be able to hook up new coils. 3. Asbestos abatement 4. Unit selection for direct replacement of existing units around Carrier air handling units. Original air handling schedules are attached. 5. Honeywell controls 6. Openings through walls/doorways as needed to remove existing units and install new units. 7.
