The scope of work generally includes drainage improvements, earthwork, streambank stabilization and paving and associated items of work. . The scope of work will consist of bypass pumping, a partial removal of the 69x48 pipe, filling the remaining pipe under the house with flowable fill, removal of 36" CMP, removal of existing drainage structures, installation of 36"HDPE, installation of 43"x68" and 48ix76i ERCP, installation of new drainage structures, temporary relocation and resetting of a shed, removal and reinstallation of chain link fence, curb replacement, sidewalk replacement and paving restoration, and other miscellaneous work. Bids will have a tentative award date of June 10, 2024. All questions shall be submitted via online. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bidder's bond, or certified check or cashier's check, in favor of Bensalem Township, in the amount of not less than 10% of the total amount of the bid. The successful bidder shall be bound to furnish and pay for a Performance Bond and a Labor & Material Payment Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, on bond forms acceptable to Bensalem Township. The Township reserves the right to reject any and or all bids on any basis and to waive any defects, errors, omissions, irregularities or informalities in the bidding, as permitted by law, and to accept any Bid which it may deem to be for or in the best interest of the Township in its sole and absolute discretion.
