Water Treatment Plant Media Replacement 2024 and is further described as follows: removal and replacement of media from four WTP vessels, cleaning of vessel Interiors, replacement of underdrain nozzles, replacement of drainage piping and valves, and possible repair and painting as needed. Vessels shall not be available for shutdown until after October 1, 2024. The Work shall be complete and ready for final payment no later than March 31, 2025. The Bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, in the amount be of five percent (5%) of the gross amount of the bid and be payable to the order of the Village of DePue. Question Deadline 05/29/2024 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. Contact information shall be provided on the Bidding Documents Website, Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Bids may be held by the Village of DePue for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the opening of Bids for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract. Bidders are advised that this Contract will be subject to the Illinois Steel Products Procurement Act. The successful Bidder shall provide at least 40% of all labor required for the completion of this project. Bidders are advised that this Contract will be subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage - Act. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids and to waive any Informalities in the bidding.
