Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Jasper, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility; pre-engineered storage facility; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.

This contract shall provide for the construction of a 40' x 40' pre-engineered metal building at the city's waste water treatment plant facility. The project will include a building slab, 4' tall concrete walls on 3 sides of the building, metal building with a roll up door, a walk through door and screening around three sides of the building, concrete driveway, floor drain, sewer piping and grading. Alternate bid items will also be included for the construction of a concrete road adjacent to the new building. Bid Security, only in the form of: 1) a certified or cashier's check drawn on a Texas bank and made payable to the City of Jasper, Texas; or 2) a bond executed by a surety company authorized to do business in Texas, in the amount of not less than five (5%) percent of the total bid, must accompany each bid at the time it is submitted. Bids must be submitted on the form shown in the Contract Documents. A Contractor Qualification Statement must also accompany each bid. Upon award, the successful bidder will be required to furnish payment and performance bonds. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
