General work description: The work performed under this contract includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, tools, incidentals, and supervision for the dredging, dewatering, and disposal of sediment along the Feather River near the Star Bend Boat Ramp. Complete all water work within 30 working days. Complete all work within 60 working days. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified cashier's check, or bid bond, in the amount of 10 percent of the total bid price, payable to Yuba County Department of Public Works, as a guarantee that the bidder, if its bid is accepted, will promptly execute the Agreement. The bidder shall guarantee the total bid price for a period of 60 days from the date of the bid opening. The County reserves the right after opening the bids to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in a bid or bid submittal, and to award to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, as it may best serve the interests of the County.
