The owner states that as of today, they are work on getting the contact with the prospective civil engineer executed for design services. General work description: The County of Yuba is accepting proposals for Engineering Design and Construction Support Services for the Linda Ave. and Dunning Ave. Safe Routes to School Project The County of Yuba is accepting proposals for Engineering Design and Construction Support Services for the Linda Ave. and Dunning Ave. Safe Routes to School Project. The project is Federally funded. This is a cost-plus-fixed-fee and project specific contract. One (1) consultant will be selected as a result of the RFP. This project has a DBE goal of 14%, and will be tracked with the Exhibit 10-O1 and 10-O2. Construction is expected for 2026/2027 and is anticipated to be 12-18 months long. Design of plans, specifications, and estimate should plan for the project to be phased appropriately.
