The project consists of replacing the existing steel beam bridge located on 60th Ave NE, 0.5 miles North of Rock Creek Road over Rock Creek in Norman, Oklahoma. Each bid, properly signed, together with the bid security shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed and entitled as specified in the Invitation to Bid. All addenda issued shall be included with the documents at the time of bid submittal. Each Bid must be accompanied by an original executed Bidding Documents contained within the Contract Documents and a Certified or Cashier's Check or Bidder's Surety Bond, in the sum of five percent (5%) of the amount of the total bid. Said Surety Bond will be retained as liquidated damages in the even the successful bidder fails, neglects, or refuses to enter into said contract for the construction of said public improvements for said project, and furnish the necessary Performance, Statutory, and Maintenance Bonds within ten (10) days from and after the date the award is made.
