Renovation of a municipal facility in Franklin, Pennsylvania. Working plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
As of May 30, 2024 this project did not received bids and might rebid but no definite date yet. Replace all current transition strips with new transition strips. Replace all current carpeting in the courtroom with the new carpet selected below. Measurements can be obtained by setting up an appointment with Dan Hartle at 814-432-9557 or by email dan.hartle@venangocountypa.gov. In order to bid, you must come to look at our area. Padding will be laid first and it will be 3/8 rebounded foam padding. Tack strips need to be placed around the perimeter of the carpeting where it goes to wood flooring. The carpeting requirements are Construction: Woven Axminster, Fiber: 80% wool/20% nylon; Dye Method: Yarn Dyed Custom; Backing: Synthetic woven; Pile: 8 mm; Weight: 63 oz., Fire Class Rating: 1. This is a custom-made carpet and manufacturer will need to be contacted for this carpet. The manufacturer is Kane and is a Guardia-Blue color. The county will provide a picture, so you can follow up with the manufacturer about the design. Carpet will be installed by qualified installers and will be warrantied for a minimum of five years.
