Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Laurinburg, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
The project consists of building a new Fleet Wash Facility for the City of Laurinburg, which will be built on the City's property near the Public Works Facility on Hall Street. The site is free of trees and other structures which will not require any clearing or demolition work. The City will provide utilities to the new structure as shown on the site drawing C-1. The vehicle wash equipment will be furnished and installed by a separate specialty contractor under contract to the City of Laurinburg. Bid bond/bid security of 5% shall be required with the submittal of bids. Performance and payment bonds must be furnished in accordance with NC General Statutes. Insurance in a form acceptable to the Owner will be required of the successful bidder. The City of Laurinburg is an Equal Opportunity Employer and invites submission of proposals from minority and women-owned businesses. Bidders shall also meet all State of NC, federal, and local requirements for MWBE (HUB) participation and include the required documents and affidavits in the submitted bids. The City reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals and to waive irregularities and informalities in any bids submitted.
