Renovation of a water / sewer project in Waterbury, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 6/11/2024 2:00 PM All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bid Documents must be submitted to the CITYs eProcurement website via Electronically. The project scope proposes new pump station building and utilities connections at the North Main Street located in the vicinity of the existing pump station on the property owned by the City of Waterbury in front of the Frank G. Regan Elementary School and will serve the Blackman Storage Tank without compromising existing hydraulic parameters. Upon completion and full operation of the new pump station, the existing pump station at 2713 N. Main Street will be abated, demolished, and removed from service. Please reference the bid form for multiple unit prices on ductile iron piping, sitework, paving, milling, line striping, Hazmat work, etc. There are DBE, MBE, WBE requirements for this project Any subcontractor with a contract value over $500,000 must be prequalified with CT DAS Project is subject to prevailing wage rates Project is subject to American Iron & Steel (AIS) requirements and BABA Project is tax-exempt. This project is to be substantially completed in 365 calendar days from notice to proceed and final completion within 545 calendar days. LDs are $1,000 per day. Addendum #1-#3 have been issued as of 6-17-2024.
