The Bulloch County School System (BCSS) is accepting bids for a total of five (5) Modular Classroom units to be delivered and set up as described below per the specifications of this document. All applicable federal, state, and local laws, and in accordance with industry "best practices", including delivery, hitch removal, setup, and installation must be performed. Ensure clean-up of all construction debris and remove such debris from the sites. BCSS is seeking a qualified and experienced company to perform these services by providing all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary as assigned by this solicitation. - Three (3) Modular units (a total of 6 classrooms) delivered and set up on the campus of Langston Chapel Middle School located at 156 Langston Chapel Rd, Statesboro, GA 30458 - Two (2) Modular units (a total of 4 classrooms) delivered and set up on the campus of Southeast Bulloch Middle School located at 9124 BrookletDenmark Rd, Brooklet, GA 30415 BCSS reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids, to waive all formalities in bidding, to be the sole judge of quality and equality of the several bid proposals and to award the contract to the most desirable bidder. Furthermore, the lowest bid may not prevail. Award of the bid will be based on the bid price, delivery and set-up schedule, references, and past performance of bidder with projects of comparable scope with Georgia schools, complexity, time constraints, and various other rubric measures. BCSS must have these units delivered and set-up on or before November 1, 2024. Please check with your manufacturer and installer before submitting a bid. Bids may not be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after bids are opened. All bids shall be submitted on the provided Bid Form. A Contractor Affidavit (E-Verify) must be submitted with bid form for the bid to be considered. Any bids exceeding $100,000.00 shall include a bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the base bid. A bid bond is the only acceptable form of bid security. No personal checks, cashier's checks, certified checks, or cash will be accepted in lieu of the bid bond. Performance and payment bonds amounting to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract sum will be required for any bid exceeding $100,000.00. All bonds shall be written by a Surety licensed to conduct business in the State of Georgia, listed on the Federal Register and acceptable to the owner. (Bidder may use surety company's bond form.) All bidders must be licensed general contractors in the State of Georgia and be in good standing.
