Stanton Avenue Reconstruction: Union to Broadway - 21-STR-058 - Stanton Avenue: Union Avenue to Broadway and Oak Street from W. Lincoln Ave. to Stanton Ave. City Project 5959 will reconstruct the sanitary sewer, water main, storm sewer, sewer and water services and street resurfacing. Concrete curbs and gutters and sidewalks will be replaced as needed. Parking along Stanton Avenue will be reconfigured. There will be no parking allowed on the north side of Stanton from Union to Vine and parking along the south side will be diagonal parking only. This project is included in the city’s 2024-2028 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of May 16, 2024, project funded for FY2024. Project has been awarded and construction has commenced as of April 23, 2024. The project is estimated to be complete by September 6, 2024. The road will be closed to on-street parking and drivers should watch for detours and closures throughout the project. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
