Division 1 - Water Improvements: Water improvements include the conversion of an existing 15,000 gallon hydropneumatic pressure tank to an above ground storage tank and expansion of the existing well house to include a new pump system. Division 2 - Sewer Improvements: The sewer improvements consist of replacement of the RBC, clarifier, and cascade aeration units at the WWTP as well as associated appurtenances. The improvements also include structural, mechanical, and electrical improvements to the existing WWTP structure. Work Included: The work to be performed hereunder shall include the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, transportation, supplies, equipment and appurtenances necessary for the complete and satisfactory rehabilitation of the water system (Division I) or wastewater treatment facilities (Division II). The Division I work shall include the conversion of the hydropneumatic tank, well building modification, new pump, controls, and piping modifications necessary to make water system improvements operate, and all related appurtenances. The Division II work shall include, but is not limited to, replacement of the key treatment system components (RBC and clarifier), installation of UV treatment system, and all related appurtenances. The CONTRACTOR shall provide submittals for the ENGINEER's approval to show compliance with the specifications. Unacceptable submittals shall be revised and resubmitted as necessary until compliance with the specifications is achieved.
