Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Buffalo Township, Missouri. Completed plans call for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; and for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel.
Construction of a 104-foot, single span NU-43 girder bridge with driven piles. The total project length is 400 feet. The project is located on C.R. 135 in Section 09, Township 54 N, Range 2 W in Pike County, Missouri over Grassy Branch All bidders must be on MoDOTs Qualified Contractor List per Section 102.2 of the current version of the Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction. The contractor questionnaire must be on file 7 days prior to bid opening. A certified cashiers check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal. The Pike County Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The project will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. The DBE Goal for this project is 5%. No 2nd tier subcontracting will be allowed on this project. MODOT - CR 135 Bridge Replacement All questions concerning the bid document preparation can be directed to the Project Manager at Great River Engineering at 417-886-7171. Project specific questions can be directed to the Design Professional of record at Great River Engineering.
