All parties interested in bidding that may have questions about the bid must submit all questions in writing via emailing snichols@co.banks.ga.us. The County shall not be responsible for any verbal communication between any employee of the County and any potential bidder. Deadline for questions related to this RFP is Friday, June 7, 2024. SCOPE: It is the intent of this Invitation to Bid to establish a contract with a Contractor to provide pre engineered building, all material, labor, and equipment to construct and erect metal building that will be located at 139 Public Safety Drive, Homer, GA 30547 also known as Banks County Fire Station #51. The building will consist of 3 different sections: Building A, Building B, and Building C. COMPLETION: Banks County will require the Contractor to begin work within thirty (30) calendar days after receipt of the contract award letter / purchase order, and complete the work within 120 calendar days thereafter. If this schedule cannot be met, bidder must state number of days required to complete the project. Failure to state completion time obligated bidder to complete project by County's requested date. Extended delivery dates may be considered when in the best interest of the County.
