Banks County Public Utilities is seeking a contractor to provide LABOR ONLY to install some 2,600 linear feet of 6 PVC waterline from Free Drive to English Road. The project will commence on the northern side of Free Drive and require tapping onto an existing 6 water main and boring underneath Free Drive then running alongside of current powerlines down Highway 441 and ending at English Road. This part of the project will consist of installing some four (4) valves and two (2) fire hydrants with isolation valves, one will be installed midway of project and another just before English Road. The second part of the LABOR ONLY contract will be to install some 2,500 linear feet of 3 waterline up along English Road with a blow-off installed at the end of the line at 436 English Road. Banks County will be responsible for obtaining all easement agreements from effected property owners prior to notice to proceed. The County will be supplying all materials required to complete said project. County expects the Contractor to complete the project within Forty-five (45) days from notice to proceed. The County shall be named as an additional insured on both the professional liability and comprehensive general liability coverage. Contractor shall furnish copies of all such policies and all renewals, terminations and alterations to the County on a current basis. October 25, 2019 12:00 P.M.
