Renovation of a multi-residential development in Cordova, Alaska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
The Alaska Housing Finance Corporation is seeking bids to replace carpet, base and transitions in first floor common areas at the Sunset View building in Cordova, AK. Contract starts upon issuance of Notice to Proceed. The completion date for this project is on or before June 1, 2025. Estimated Amount of Proposed Contract $5,000 to $25,000 Minority and women-owned businesses are encouraged to submit proposals The Corporation expressly reserves the right to accept or reject any or all quotes, waive minor informalities, negotiate changes and to not award the proposed contract, if in its best interest. "Minor Informalities" means matters of form rather than substance which are evident from the submittal, or are insignificant matters that have a negligible effect on price, quantity, quality, delivery, or contractual conditions and can be waived or corrected without prejudice to other Offerors. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Replace carpet, base and transitions in first floor common areas at the Sunset View building in Cordova, Alaska. The successful bidder shall remove and dispose of existing glued down carpet, vinyl base and transitions and install new carpet tile, vinyl base and transitions. Approximately 1000 sqft. of floors and 160 lft. of base. Successful bidder is to provide a minimum of three carpet samples each with 6 or more color choices to be selected by local staff. One sample is to be Mohawk "First One Up II" and the other 2 of equal or better quality selected by contractor. 10% of each color is to be left on sight for future repairs. Base and transition samples are to be provided to local staff for color selection. Successful bidder responsible for all costs associated with completion of the contract, to include but not limited to permits, materials, shipping, labor, warranty registration, and complete installation
