Renovation of a municipal facility in Point Lookout, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Roof Replacement and Related Improvements Each proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond payable to the Town of Hempstead for not less than 5% of the estimated amount of the bid. The Town of Hempstead reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The Work consists of furnishing Labor and Materials to remove and replace the existing roof system, and related items including asbestos abatement. The work shall include, but not be limited to the following: General Conditions. Maintain and secure all existing roof top equipment. Removal of the existing PV Solar system (By others). Asbestos Abatement. Removal of the existing roof system. Removal of the soffit and fascia coverings. Furnish and install a new roof system. Line the existing built-in gutter system. Remove and replace leaders. Furnish and install a new soffit and fascia system. Furnish and install required new flashings, vent pipe seals, etc. Disposal of all demolition and construction debris. Restoration of all disturbed or damaged areas. General site clean-up.
