Renovation of a medical facility in Prince George, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.

The UHNBC Cardiac project is a multiphase renovation that will renovate/expand three departments located throughout Level 1 and Level 3 of the existing hospital building. This portion of the project is confined to Phase 2 which is the renovation to the space on the first floor to accommodate the new Burn Unit. The current facility will remain operational during the construction and renovation of each area. All hazardous materials identified that will be disturbed within the scope of this project will be abated in the areas to be fit up with new finishes. Hazardous material located in the remaining shell area that do not need to be disturbed can remain and will be addressed when that area is renovated. The General contractor will retain the services of a hazardous materials abatement contractor for this work. The work to be undertaken generally includes the following: 1. Demolition of an existing space as noted on the drawings. 2. New fit up of the space to convert it into a new Burn Unit. 3. All associated Mechanical work. 4. All associated Electrical work.
