Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Florissant, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

Approximately 10,700 square yards of new asphalt surface will be installed. All work will be completed in 1 trip(s). Work areas will be barricaded for the duration of the project. Rotomill the existing asphalt surface to a depth of 2 inches (2"). All surfaces to be paved will be cleaned using blowers and power brooms. SS-1 will be applied at a rate of .1 gallon to ensure proper adhesion between new and existing asphalt surfaces. Leveling: We will level low and depressed areas by installing tons of asphalt leveling surface. This will raise low areas and minimize water ponding.. 2 inches of compacted hot mix asphalt will be machine laid and then rolled using 3-to-5-ton vibratory steel drum rollers. The specified depth is after compaction. Edges will be tapered and beveled to meet the existing surface. The new asphalt areas will be restriped per existing layout or with changes given by Director of Maintenance prior to work, with one coat of traffic paint. All curb stops will need to be re-installed after the lot is striped. Any wheel stops that are found to be in need of repair shall be reported to the director of Maintenace. Southeast Middle School | 2" Mill and Overlay 1. Approximately 13,720 square yards of new asphalt surface will be installed. 2. All work will be completed in 1 trip(s). 3. The bonds shall be written in the amount of 100 percent of the total contract price All bidders will be required to furnish a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid at the time of submission of the bid. The contractor shall provide liability insurance and workers compensation in full until completion of the work. Fire, theft, and windstorm insurance during the work. Fire, theft, and windstorm insurance during the work period shall be provided by the contractor. All vandalism during construction is the responsibility of the contractor. The owner reserves the right to waive informalities in bids and to reject any or all bids.
