Renovation of a municipal facility in Cheshire, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Work in this contract is comprised of, but not limited to, the installation of a Premium Architectural Shingle Roof System, to the Cheshire Town Hall located at 84 South Main Street Cheshire, Connecticut. Work Includes Removal of an existing single layer of architectural shingles, drip and rake edge, all-step flashing, including any damaged or compromised counter flashing. Location and replacement of 400 sq. ft. of plywood sheathing. New custom fabricated .032 white drip and rake edge. Removal and replacement of siding on steeple. Leave existing copper gutters in service with location and replacement of 30 weakened, loosened or broken gutter brackets and 50 lineal feet of loose, damaged or broken leader pipes. Shingle color to be determined by Cheshire Department of Public Works. The Town of Cheshire is seeking competitive proposals from qualified contractors for the Installation of a Premium Architectural Shingle Roof System onto the Town Hall, located at 84 South Main Street. The Town of Cheshire reserves the rights to amend or terminate this Request for Proposals, accept all or any part of a proposal, reject all proposals, waive any informalities or non-material deficiencies in a proposal, and award the proposal to the proposer that, in the Town's sole discretion and judgment, will be in the Town's best interests.
